America’s Top Disability Insurance Law Firm Extends a Helping Hand to Local Children, Animals During the Holidays

DarrasLaw will honor two terrific local organizations this holiday season: Kids Come First and Friends of Orange County's Homeless Pets.

Ontario, CA, December 11, 2014

For DarrasLaw, "pay it forward" is more than just a philosophy; it's a way of doing business that has put the firm into a disability league of their own. This month, the firm extends its benevolent practices by honoring two terrific organizations: the Ontario-based Kids Come First and Friends of Orange County's Homeless Pets.

"We work every day to help change disabled and disadvantaged lives, and that spirit extends into every holiday season. Each year, our firm commits to giving back to our community and to causes that we hold dear. Kids Come First and FOCHP both have a special relationship to our staff, so we are excited to give back to the community while helping causes important to the DarrasLaw family," says Frank N. Darras, America's top insurance lawyer.

The firm provided themed gift packages for Kids Come First, which will raffle off the prizes to children at the organization's holiday party. The lucky winners will walk away with complete sets of athletic gear, art sets and more, courtesy of DarrasLaw. The firm will deliver the presents at the Dec. 22 party, which begins at 8 a.m. and is open to anyone previously or currently helped by Kids Come First.

"When kids start out with proper care from an early age they reap the benefits in the long run, and it's inspiring for us to provide a place for them to go and get the help they need," says Phillip Bather, a disability attorney at DarrasLaw and board member of Kids Come First. "I'm honored our firm shares that feeling and is eager to help this great organization."

As part of their second donation this year, the DarrasLaw staff sponsored animals from Friends of Orange County's Homeless Pets and will each provide food and supplies to help care for their selected pet. These contributions will relieve the burden of purchasing high-quality products to ensure the best possible care for each animal. These donations make it possible for the organization to maximize the amount of animals in Southern California it can rescue, says Lissa Martinez, a senior attorney at DarrasLaw and long-time volunteer at FOCHP.

"This is our opportunity to give back to those who are really in need and may not have a powerful voice for themselves," Darras says. "Spreading holiday cheer and helping the children and animals of our community is our way of giving back to where we live and work."
