Frank N. Darras Honored by Lawdragon as Leading Plaintiff Consumer Lawyer

Lawdragon has once again honored DarrasLaw founder Frank N. Darras as one of the top 500 Leading Plaintiff Consumer Lawyers in America.

In its 2022 guide, Lawdragon recognized Mr. Darras for his tireless work on behalf of disabled insurance consumers who often are in life-and-death battles against billion-dollar insurance companies.

Mr. Darras made it his life’s mission to fight on behalf of disabled policyholders, and over his career he and his firms have obtained almost $1 billion in denied insurance benefits.

“When I sit and talk to clients who have paid rich premiums for a promise of peace of mind and security from their insurance carrier, long delays and unreasonable denials aren’t what they bargained for,” Mr. Darras said. “These are hard-working, everyday people, often beaten up, worn down, and starved out by their disability insurance company.”

Lawdragon has honored Mr. Darras for 17 consecutive years as the only disability lawyer honored in his field. In addition to being named to the Lawdragon Leading Plaintiff Consumer Lawyer Guide, he’s been named a Lawdragon Leading Plaintiff Employment Lawyer as well as a Lawdragon Top 500 Plaintiff Attorney in the United States.

The strict criteria for attorneys recognized by Lawdragon includes reviewing thousands of lawyers who specialize in helping consumers get real justice. They vet lawyers from across the country with boards of their peers and look at their achievements in verdicts, settlements, and their roles as leaders in cutting-edge litigation.

“This is a tremendous honor,” Mr. Darras added. “To be again included alongside so many terrific attorneys, many whom I know personally, and to see my fight on behalf of consumers highlighted again, is humbling.”
